On July 4th, CIVANA Carefree, the next generation wellness resort, along with the Town of Carefree will be hosting the next generation fireworks - an aerial light show with 30 drones that will light up the sky for Carefree and Cave Creek residents.
With the recent cancellation of fireworks in Cave Creek and several cities, CIVANA Carefree, a sustainable wellness resort and home away from home to the Wildland firefighters, has commissioned a technology company to present two drone shows designed to celebrate Independence Day. The drought-friendly night sky show will be featured 300 feet above the ground over the soon to be Spa CIVANA. Guests and residents will be able to view from various locations around the resort and the neighboring homes.
When presented with the last-minute opportunity to partner in this first of its kind drone light show, Mayor Les Petersen of the Town of Carefree extended his support without hesitation; “We are excited to co-host this show with CIVANA Carefree so we could provide residents of the cities of Carefree and Cave Creek an earth-friendly ‘fireworks’ as part of their July 4th tradition”.
The drone show will play on July 4th at 8:30 pm and 9:15 pm and is open to the public. Cafe Meto will be offering a special July 4th dinner to coincide with the show for those who would like a courtside seat.
