Thanks Lyn, and great news on cracking down on the speeding. Mule Train is a speedway by the resort as well.
Rumor central told me that there will be a Hampton Inn built at the Sundial???? Is this true??

(Lyn's note: Yes, the Council approved entering into a development agreement with Hampton Inn-Hilton at the February meeting. Hilton will be purchasing the lot from Ed Lewis. This will be a high end Hampton Inn, not the type seen near airports and along freeways.)

I appreciate the Mayor’s comments about speeding and as a long time Carefree resident I agree that speeding is a periodic issue that must be addressed. Unfortunately the Mayor failed to address speeding by commercial and contractor vehicles that is becoming more prevalent as the economy has improved. That includes commercial traffic on streets of residential areas which are being used as shortcuts by these vehicles. If the mayor is concerned about the safety of Carefree residents, then this should be a priority as residents tend to walk their dogs or just walk for exercise and should not have to dodge commercial traffic that doesn’t belong on those streets.
