Dr. Sharon P. Smith, who was the write-in candidate for the Carefree Town Council in the primary election, won enough votes even as a write-in to be included on the regular ballot for the general election run-off coming up soon.  Dr. Smith has sterling credentials and is quite conversant in the issues facing Carefree.  She served on Carefree's Planning and Zoning Commission, was a member on some vital committees, and has regularly attended the Council meetings.  She has our votes!
