Arizona Driver’s License Renewal Update (From COINS)
Governor Doug Ducey recently issued an Executive Order EO2020-53 that defers renewal requirements for Class D and Class M Arizona driver's licenses that have an expiration date of March 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020 by one year from the expiration date on the original license issued.
This Executive Order also requires state and local governments (including election officials) to accept these expired licenses as valid identification for which unexpired licenses would otherwise be accepted.
The Executive Order is important for notaries and their identification requirements and if you have to renew your license or show it to the Court.
Class D (Operator) allows you to drive any vehicle that does not require a motorcycle or commercial license.
Class M (Motorcycle) allows you to drive a motorcycle or motor driven cycle.
The extension of time to renew applies only to Class D (Operator) and Class M (Motorcycle) licenses.
For example, if you turn age 65 on July 1, 2020, could not get an appointment in person with the MVD to renew your license and your license expired, the date of expiration is extended to July 1, 2021. You can drive, vote, go to court, get a document notarized, etc with your expired license until that 1 year extension ends July 1, 2021.
For example, if a license issued in Arizona expires on December 2, 2020, the date of expiration is extended to December 2, 2021.

We were wondering if you could add us to your list of advertised local businesses? We've already been in touch with the Town, the Chamber of Commerce and others, but the more exposure, the better for the animals!
Anyway, our Carefree address is 7202 E. Ho Road, but it actually faces Tom Darlington, just south of Cave Creek Road. Here is our link:
