The Town has been receiving rave reviews of the Enchanted Pumpkin Garden from people and media attending so far.
We are anticipating record crowds to come to the Enchanted Pumpkin Garden the last Saturday and Sunday, given that it is the weekend immediately before Halloween on Monday and from people who have attended telling their friends and neighbors to be sure to come. We anticipate significant additional media support as well. The first Saturday we had an estimated 10,000 – 12,000+ attend.
The volunteers which have been helping the Town implement this exciting event have been immensely helpful in making the event proceed smoothly.
Thanks again to everyone for helping make this event so successful!

Thanks to everyone for pitching in to make this 2nd annual Pumpkin Festival a great hit. We had double the visitors from last year and everything ran smoothly without a hitch. So thanks to you all we really appreciated your help and your willingness to fill in at the last minute.
And while it is still fresh in everyone’s mind, we would love to hear from you. What were your impressions of the festival? What did we do right? What could be improved upon for next year? We will use all of your input as we start planning for next year.
Again on behalf of the Town of Carefree, we thank you.
Cheryl Kroyer
Lyn and Herbie,
As always you capture the excitement! How wonderful for Carefree and all of us kids. Hope our Enchanted Pumpkin Garden continues to grow.
LeAnda Merrihew
(Lyn's note: LeAnda is my neighbor who originally approached Gina Kaegi with the idea of a pumpkin festival. Good job, LeAnda and Gina!)
Loved Herbie’s videos of the pumpkin garden!
Jan Dooley
Another very good one.
Kathy Riemer
Good morning! I hoped to find you last Sunday, but it was quite a crowd. Vicki’s gallery booth looked great. Hope to see you soon.
Sara
(Lyn's note: Victoria Orrico, owner of the Easy Street Galleria in the Post Office building, has a booth at the Pumpkin Festival on the weekends.)
