FYI, just last night, a friend with whom I've shared the schedules of Ray's events, and who has brought her family up several times to see them, asked if Ray had anything going on in Carefree at the moment. So yes, people do remember and it becomes a real draw for them, as indicated in the report.

Hi Lyn and Greg,
I wanted to say thanks for your help with Camellia’s science project. She received first place in her grade for her project. We both learned a lot and had a good time doing it. She may continue working with water quality and water testing for next year’s project. Regardless, it was an incredibly valuable experience and we are both very grateful for your assistance.
She ended up using her water quality samples from the Spur Cross riparian pond as her control and put greywater from the shower through three different filters to see which one brought the shower water closest to the aquifer (Spur Cross) sample. She tested the water before filtering and after filtering. Her mushroom filter performed the best (somewhat to my surprise).
Thanks again!
Becca
Very nice! Give Camellia our congratulations! Glad we could help out. Sounds like you have a budding scientist on your hands!

(Lyn's note: Becca contacted me to ask if I knew anyone who could provide information on water for her daughter's school science project. I put them in touch with Greg Crossman, who runs the Carefree Water Company. Greg was happy to help, and was generous with his time and expertise. Thanks, Greg!)
Why not show us a map exactly where all this is to be placed??
James Raymond
(Lyn's note: Stacey's slide presentation in the video shows photos taken from different angles, and details the location and the proposal for upgrading the communications system on the lots owned by the Carefree Water Company.)
Thank you, Lyn!
Jim
(Lyn's note: You are most welcome, Jim. Always check the videos when you have questions like this. The staff tends to prepare very thorough presentations. Herbert always requests the slides, and he takes the time and effort to plug them in where they belong, which shows them much better than they appear when filmed from the screens, even with the vastly improved system in the new Council chambers.)
