(Lyn's note: Please feel free to send us any pictures you'd like included. If your photos are for sale, let us know and we will put them under that category. We have a special section for that purpose. If anyone would like to buy a print of any of Herbert's photos, all profits will be donated to one of the local non-profit organizations. Here are the links to this week's Pictures of the Week. Enjoy!)

(Lyn's note: There was a big rattlesnake at the bottom of our driveway yesterday. I wanted to let you know they are out early again this year, so be careful when you are doing yard work of are out walking. A friend saw one in her garden the other day too.)

I liked what was written on COINS, mainly because it also included all the other types of calls that would generate a “YES” response. These calls scams are getting worse. The latest one I received was “Press 1 to have your number removed from our call list”. That’s just a scam to let the scammer know that they have reached an active phone number.
The one that has been around for some time is “Hi, this is Rebecca from Account Services, there’s nothing the matter with your credit card account, but we need to update your information, press 1 to be connected…etc.”
I also get (often with an Indian accent), “Hi, this is Phil and I am calling from Windows, our network tells us that there is a problem with a connection to your computer and we need to verify…etc.”
Sometimes, depending on my mood, I either tell them that they are scammers of phishermen and other times I will put the phone on speaker and say “Hello, hello, hello” and then not say anything more. Hopefully I can waste some of their time. I laugh to myself when they keep trying to talk, asking if I am still there. They eventually hang up.

They are still at it. At 11:00 am, I received a telephone call from (302) 261 5211. Caller ID said it was from New Castle, Delaware. A white pages "reverse phone number look-up" noted that it was a Vail Lab VOIP in Delaware City, DE and was probably a "Scam or a Fraud".
The caller wanted me to say "Yes". "I am calling to save you money on your utilities, doesn't everyone want to save money?" Instead of responding, I said, "Tell me more." He then asked if I was the head of the household. I told him that my wife was in charge and hung up!

Lyn,
Thank you for sharing Mac's photograph. I shared it on Bosco's Biscuits FB page. Thought everyone would get a kick out of it! Luckily Buzzy is looking from inside out, lol!
