(Lyn's note: Please feel free to send us any pictures you'd like included. If your photos are for sale, let us know and we will put them under that category. We have a special section for that purpose. If anyone would like to buy a print of any of Herbert's photos, all profits will be donated to one of the local non-profit organizations. Here are the links to this week's Pictures of the Week. Enjoy!)

Dear Carefree Christmas Festival Community:
Thank you all so much for your commitment, dedication and most importantly your support of the Carefree Christmas Festival over the last 9 years.
The event has been a wonderful coming together of friends, families, neighbors and colleagues all working hard to provide a 3 day spectacular event of "free" entertainment for everyone.
Thank you to all our sponsors, our performers, our local schools, businesses and non-profits. Thank you to the Carefree Christmas Festival committee that I was proud to lead for 9 years and thank you to our local media for making sure that the event was always on the front page!
As in life, things change and evolve. The Town of Carefree now has a new direction for the 10th Annual Carefree Christmas Festival and I will be stepping down as the Director. There are plans to extend the entertainment throughout the month of December rather than focus on one weekend, so I hope there will be more entertainment opportunities for you all.
I would ask that you direct any questions or concerns about your future performances and involvement to the Town Staff at 480 488 3686.
So grateful for all your support and enthusiasm and I hope to see you all again at future events.
Kind regards,
Jo Gemmill
Director Carefree Christmas Festival 2007-2016.
Thank you so much for capturing our event!!! Terrific!!

As always, Lyn, you and Herb did a great job. Thank you for spending part of your Saturday and adjusting your lunch schedule to take photos. It looks like we had a nice day and well organized booths.
Best regards,
John Crane
Great pictures!
