Lyn's note: Please feel free to send us any pictures you'd like included. If your photos are for sale, let us know and we will put them under that category. We have a special section for that purpose. If anyone would like to buy a print of any of Herbert's photos, all profits will be donated to one of the local non-profit organizations. Here is the link to this week's Pictures of the Week.

Thanks for publishing this Lyn, I appreciate it!

(Lyn's note: I think everything you questioned about the antennae going onto the Water Company lot has probably been questioned by others who don't bother to ask for answers, but are interested in them, so this was very good info to put out there. Thanks for doing your part. And Greg, a huge thanks to you for running all of it down for us. I know that wasn't easy.)
Lyn:
FYI, while Medicare may not contact you except by mail, I have a Medicare Supplemental policy through United Healthcare. I recently received an email from them telling me that my new Medicare replacement card will be coming after April 1. This is what the email spelled out:
Beginning April 2018 and through April 2019, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will be sending you a replacement Medicare card. The new cards do not include a Social Security number and will help to prevent fraud, reduce identity theft and safeguard taxpayer dollars.
You are right that the scammers are out there. It’s just a matter that everybody needs to be suspicious of all telephone calls asking for personal information. Just last week, I got a call and the caller was asking me to verify my information. I told them, tell me what information you have and I will let you know if it correct. I will only ‘verify’ information that you have and not provide you with anything. Needless to say, they hung up on me…didn’t even say thank you!
