Hi Lyn:
Thank you for stepping up and organizing the forum.
Best regards,
John Crane
Hi Lyn, you are starting to sound more and more like Don Sorecheeks
Sincerely,
Glenn R. Miller
Councilman, Town of Carefree
(Lyn's note: This was sent in response to our invitation to the Carefree Candidate Forum, and refers to Don Sorchych of the Sonoran News.)
Great job on the Venues video. With the new Chef we will be going back for dinner.
Al Mascha
(Lyn's note: Eugene is fabulous. We loved him at the Resort and we are thrilled that he's now at Venues. He's not only a great chef, but he's a super sweet man.)
The Venues video is beautiful. Did I really eat at such a lovely place this noon?? I especially liked the close up of the pulls for the draft beers all in a row.
Becky Fenger
What a wonderful video. It truly captures the essence of Venues. I can hardly wait to go back and indulge in more of Chef Eugene’s creations.

Lyn, nice image.
Also everyone I talk to complains about the new arches…makes our prestigious town look cheap like a tourist Disney Land entrance. Sad town didn’t listen to citizens who raised concerns at meetings and Council didn’t canvas town citizens for a vote on it… just pushed it through. Won’t be surprised to see it disappear in the future when a new town council is elected.
Bob Brenner
Dear Lyn,
I just wanted to say I really like the new Carefree Arches showing the entrances to our “carefree” Carefree. Also many thanks to the town council or whoever decided to blacktop the bumpy road from the Post Office down to the roundabout. I am so happy the bumps are gone ! We love living in Carefree.

I'm sorry to hear this, Lyn! Martha and I walk our three dogs twice a day as well and have never, ever had a problem. Everyone is friendly, as are most of the dogs. The people whose dogs are not friendly, or don't want to socialize, simply walk around to a different area. We are a very friendly group of dog and people lovers and I'd hate to see the activity end in downtown Carefree. For most of us, an off-leash dog park would be wonderful and we've all been talking about it for quite some time.
We keep our pups on their leashes but the ones who were off-leash were harmless and just having a good time. We all just enjoy the energy and love.
Thanks, Lyn!
Kevin Glenn
Carol has valid concerns so Molly is going to put me on my leash.
Phil Corso
(Lyn's note: I got a number of very upset emails from the dog group well before this issue of was sent. Since the Council meeting, rumors were flying that people would be prosecuted and fined retroactively, and banned for life from the Gardens if their dogs had been off leash. I assured everyone that was not the case; they are welcome to continue to congregate and socialize, but they would have to keep their dogs leashed now that there has been a public complaint issued to the Town. The leash law is not just Carefree's; it's all of Maricopa County.)
Shop local and everyone will enjoy the wonderful merchants we have right here in Carefree. See you at one of the shops.
Check out the calendars at town hall, they are truly beautiful, (as usual). Great Christmas gifts.
Joe Corpora
(Lyn's note: The Carefree Desert Gardens 2017 calendars will be available at Town Hall in the early fall.)
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU BOTH DO. I AM VERY GRATEFUL FOR YOU BOTH.
DEVOTELY,
LORAINE SIMONS
