The 2016 Carefree Desert Garden calendars are now available at Carefree Town Hall, 8 Sundial Circle, Carefree, and they are gorgeous! If you like to take pictures, visit the Gardens. Our entry period for the Carefree Desert Gardens Photo Contest is January. Your picture could be in the 2017 calendar.

Glad to see Chef Eugene is back. (Venues) Hope he got lots of rest. He will need it once folks read the menu. 3 more Pilates classes and I can come back to feast.

In as much as we live directly across from the arch on Carefree Drive, my opinion is they did a beautiful classy, job. The arch is well done, and inviting. The new landscaping done in the median by Desert Foothills Landscape, who donated the "Carefree Desert Gardens" in the town center, enhances the arches and entrance to the beautiful Carefree Town Center.
Come to Carefree and see the beauty, which is Downtown Carefree.
Well Done Mayor Peterson and our city council, and Gary Neiss, who does such a wonderful job managing our town's affairs.
Congratulations to all who worked on the arches and the Town's revitalization.

Do you know if the Carefree arches will be lit at night. Not the vertical columns? Over all the arches are OK, but necessary???

(Lyn's note: Both the columns and the lettering on the arches will be lit at night so people can see them. The issue was that people would drive past, not knowing where Carefree's commercial center is, would keep driving, and would end up on Cave Creek, whose commercial center is along the main road, so obvious and easy to find, while Carefree's in internal and not readily seen.)
As I was cruising through all of your news, I saw a picture and said “My, isn’t that pretty!" And I didn’t recognize it until I looked for the name. Thank you for making my morning! We live in paradise.
