Hi Lyn,
This is Tom Darlington Drive, by the construction. Is Peter Sample able to put signs in trees?  It’s fastened with zip ties. So it’s not a rogue sign that blew into a tree.  See pic:

 Absolutely not. Is it still there? Dennis is out today. But, I will go pull it if you tell me more specifically where it is at.

Hi Kandace,
That Sample sign is in a tree a little south of the Boulders entrance. The median where all the construction materials are located. His argument will be that his sign was pushed out because of the placing of the construction materials. One of Vice Mayor Crane’s signs was also pushed out with materials on top it. FYI If you are driving on Tom Darlington towards Carefree Hwy, you can’t miss it in the tree in the median.

After looking at the boundary of it’s location, I can’t remove it because he placed it just within the boundary of the City of Scottsdale. I will send your photo and info to Ben Lane, City Clerk for the City of Scottsdale.

I can’t believe this sneaky guy put the tree sign just over the border. I hope Scottsdale does something about it! He either knows it’s wrong to place in a tree & did it anyway OR he doesn’t know the rules. Either way he is blatantly unfit for any town position, let alone Mayor!!!  Insanity. I firmly believe that our little town is under a full blown attack!

Peter Sample called me a racist!  I was shocked by his ludicrous accusation, made simply because I don't support his candidacy. 
 
His campaign sign zip tied to the tree, the many large and small campaign signs he has plastered all over Carefree, and the expensive multi-page mailer do tell me much about his ego and how he would spend the Town's money if he were mayor.

He has used the “racist” card many times in his life. I guarantee it’s his go-to. Those pictures of him standing in front of sheriff car and fire truck? Disgusting. He knows nothing about our town and has participated in nothing.
