NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING
OF THE CAREFREE TOWN COUNCIL

TIME: 5:00 P.M.
Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Town Council of the Town of Carefree, Arizona and to the general public that the members of the Town Council will hold a meeting open to the public. For any item listed on the agenda, the Council may vote to go into Executive Session for advice of counsel and/or to discuss records and information exempt by law or rule from public inspection, pursuant to Arizona Revised Statues §38-431.03.
The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

All items listed hereunder are considered to be routine by the Town Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a council member so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the consent agenda and will be discussed separately:
ITEM #1 Approval of the February 6, 2018 Town Council Regular Meeting Minutes.
ITEM #2 Acceptance into the public record of the February, 2018 paid bills.
ITEM #3 Acceptance of the cash receipts and disbursements report for January, 2018.
ITEM #4 Approval of an Extension of Premises Liquor Application for Corrado’s Cucina Italiana Restaurant on April 14-15, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in conjunction with the Carefree Italian Festival with street closures of the north parking lot of 100 Easy Street as indicated on the application.
ITEM #5 Approval of a Special Event Application for the Carefree – Cave Creek Italian American Social Club, Inc. in conjunction with the Carefree Italian Festival on April 14-15, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with street closures of the north parking lot of 100 Easy Street as indicated on the application.
ITEM #6 Approval of a Special Event Liquor License Application for Foothills Food Bank in conjunction with the Carefree Community Block Party on April 7, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Street closures on Easy Street as indicated on the application.
REGULAR AGENDA:
ITEM #7 Call to the Public: Consideration of comments from the public. Pursuant to Section 2-4-7(G) of the Town Code and A.R.S. 38-431.01(H), those wishing to address the Council need not request permission in advance. The public may address the Council on matters not on the agenda. At the conclusion of an open call to the public, individual members of the public body may respond to criticism
made by those who have addressed the public body, may ask staff to review a matter, direct staff to study the matter, reschedule the matter for further consideration and decision at a later date, or may ask that a matter be put on a future agenda. However, the Council may not discuss or take legal action at this time. Please limit your comments to not more than 3 minutes.
ITEM #8 Current Events.
ITEM #9 Presentation and discussion by Lawrence Gabriele of Azil Development, LLC regarding residential development in the Town Center and possible action to approve Resolution # 2018-05 authorizing the Mayor to execute the Easy Street North Amended Development Agreement.
ITEM #10 Presentation and discussion recapping the results of the 2017 Christmas in Carefree event.
ITEM #11 Discussion and possible action to go into Executive Session in accordance with A.R.S. §§ 38-431.03(A)(3) and (A)(4) including discussion and consultation for legal advice with the attorney of the public body, and negotiations or discussion regarding potential contracts and negotiations
ITEM #12 Adjournment.
