Carefree Truth
Issue #1115, January 3, 2025

As usual, Herbert was there all 8 nights with his camcorder and his camera, taking videos and still photos as he has been since the beginning, 8 years ago.  Other than last year, when the event got a nice grant and Karen Acker, the hard working volunteer organizer of this wonderful event, was able to throw some money in Herbert's direction, he has recorded the event on a pro bono basis and has enjoyed doing so.  It's a well attended entertaining and educational program that celebrates Jewish history and culture.  We wish to thank all of the volunteers who make this possible each year.

 
Our Wifi at home was too slow to allow Herbert to publish the videos.  It timed out with such large files.  Vince D'Aliesio, who did the live streaming for the event this year and has for many years, was kind enough to download the videos from Herbert's portable hard drive, then upload them to Vimeo.  Thanks Vince!  Below are the links to all the videos and still photos of the 8 Nights of Chanukah in Carefree.  Enjoy!
