Carefree Truth

The Memorial Service held for former Carefree Mayor Ed Morgan was a fitting tribute to a man who did so much for our wonderful town. Several family members gave touching speeches, sharing memories of special times they had with Ed. Donna and Lloyd Meyer played their always inspiring music. The church is gorgeous, with a wall of windows looking out onto soaring boulders. Magnificent sound and setting was provided for Ed's farewell. 

 
 
Although it is the middle of July, the turnout was good.  However, many who would have attended were back in their northern homes for the summer. Herbert recorded the service and, with Bobbie Morgan's blessing, we are sharing the link with both still photos he took and the video of the service, so those who were unable to attend will have the ability to "be there". Bobbie said Ed would have loved that.

Herbert feels that the best compliment anyone can receive after they die is that they are missed. Ed Morgan will be missed by so many. He was one of the most loved and respected people I know. Rest in well deserved peace, my friend.
