Los Portales is the disgrace of the town and that’s no one’s fault but the owner's. If anything, the town, county, or state should shut it down and initiate fines for the obvious violations. I can’t imagine the tenants are happy or get much business. It’s a slum!

I remember the lovely free concerts we used to enj oy in the amphitheater in Carefree.  Any idea why we don’t have those anymore?

(Lyn's note: You can sign up for the Town weekly newsletter about what's happening in Carefree at info@townofcarefree.ccsend.com   There have been weekly concerts in the amphitheater, but they have stopped for the summer because it's too hot for outdoor activities.  I assume they will begin again when the weather cools down and people start coming back.)
