“It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Lloyd Meyer, former Vice Mayor of Carefree, and President of two homeowner associations, one in the Boulders as well as his own neighborhood association.  He was recently diagnosed with a very aggressive, terminal cancer and he passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, March 11.  A memorial service will be held at a later date”.
