NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING
OF THE CAREFREE TOWN COUNCIL

WHEN: TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2016
WHERE: FCF - HOLLAND COMMUNITY CENTER, QUAIL ROOM
TIME: 6:00 P.M.
Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Town Council of the Town of Carefree, Arizona and to the general public that the members of the Town Council will hold a meeting open to the public at the Foothills Community Foundation Holland Center Quail Room located at 34250 N. 60th Street, Building B, Scottsdale, Arizona 85266.
For any item listed on the agenda, the Council may vote to go into Executive Sessions for advice of counsel and/or to discuss records and information exempt by law or rule from public inspection, pursuant to Arizona Revised Statues §38-431.03.
The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

ITEM #3 Acceptance into the public record of the October, 2016 paid bills.
ITEM #3 Acceptance of the cash receipts and disbursements report for September, 2016.
ITEM #4 Approval of the Application for Fair/Festival License for AZ Wine Cellars LLC/Richard Sharp in conjunction with Thunderbird Artists Festival for the following dates:
January 20-22, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
March 17-19, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
ITEM #5 Approval of the Application for Fair/Festival License for Su Vino Winery/Cory Whalin in conjunction with Thunderbird Artists Festival on:
November 4-6, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
January 20-22, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
March 17-19, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
REGULAR AGENDA:
ITEM #6 Call to the Public: Consideration of comments from the public. Pursuant to Section 2-4-7(G) of the Town Code and A.R.S. 38-431.01(H), those wishing to address the Council need not request permission in advance. The public may address the Council on matters not on the agenda. At the conclusion of an open call to the public, individual members of the public body may respond to criticism made by those who have addressed the public body, may ask staff to review a matter, direct staff to study the matter, reschedule the matter for further consideration and decision at a later date, or may ask that a matter be put on a future agenda. However, the Council may not discuss or take legal action at this time. Please limit your comments to not more than 3 minutes.
ITEM #7 Recognitions of service by outgoing Council Members Melissa Price, Glenn Miller, and Bob Gearhart.
ITEM #8 Current Events.
ITEM #9 Discussion and possible action regarding 2015-2016 Fiscal Year audit. A representative from the firm of HintonBurdick, PLLC will attend telephonically.
ITEM #10 PUBLIC HEARING to be held to consider proposed amendments to the Town of Carefree Zoning Ordinance 10th Publication and to receive comments from the public. Text Amendment Case #16-07-TA addresses Senate Bill 1350 (SB1350) which restricts local cities and towns from being able to regulate or limit the use of vacation rentals or short-term rentals within municipal boundaries.
