NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING
OF THE CAREFREE TOWN COUNCIL
WHEN: TUESDAY, AUGUST 29, 2017

TIME: 5:00 P.M.
Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Town Council of the Town of Carefree, Arizona and to the general public that the members of the Town Council will hold a meeting open to the public. For any item listed on the agenda, the Council may vote to go into Executive Session for advice of counsel and/or to discuss records and information exempt by law or rule from public inspection, pursuant to Arizona Revised Statues §38-431.03.

ITEM #6 Approval of a Special Events Application for the Tour de Scottsdale and the DC Ranch Community Council/Gabi Enriquez on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The route through Carefree consists of Tom Darlington and Cave Creek Roads as shown on the maps accompanying the application.
ITEM #7 Approval of a Special Events Application for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and James Omelich for the Cystic Fibrosis Cycle for Life on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The route through Carefree consists of Pima and Cave Creek Roads as shown on the maps accompanying the application.
ITEM #8 Approval of a Fair/Festival License for John Patt and Desert Diamond Distillery, Inc. in conjunction with the Thunderbird Artists Wine and Fine Art Festival November 3 – 5, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
ITEM #9 Approval of a Special Event Liquor License for the Carefree – Cave Creek Chamber of Commerce from Friday, November 4, 2017 to Sunday, November 6, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. Street closures and fencing as shown on the map accompanying the application.
ITEM #10 Approval of a Special Event Liquor License for the Carefree – Cave Creek Chamber of Commerce from Friday, January 19, 2018 to Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. Street closures and fencing as shown on the map accompanying the application.

ITEM #14 Approval to issue a Proclamation setting forth September 17th through the 23rd as Constitution Week.
ITEM #15 Approval of a Proclamation declaring November 1, 2017 to be Extra Mile Day.
REGULAR AGENDA:
ITEM #16 Call to the Public: Consideration of comments from the public. Pursuant to Section 2-4-7(G) of the Town Code and A.R.S. 38-431.01(H), those wishing to address the Council need not request permission in advance. The public may address the Council on matters not on the agenda. At the conclusion of an open call to the public, individual members of the public body may respond to criticism
made by those who have addressed the public body, may ask staff to review a matter, direct staff to study the matter, reschedule the matter for further consideration and decision at a later date, or may ask that a matter be put on a future agenda. However, the Council may not discuss or take legal action at this time. Please limit your comments to not more than 3 minutes.
ITEM #17 Current Events.
ITEM #18 Review, discussion and possible action to approve the Easy Street South Development Agreement II as submitted by Robert Stehlik of Starworks Global Development, LLC and Lawrence Gabriele of Azil Development, LLC.
