NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING
OF THE CAREFREE TOWN COUNCIL

TIME: 5:00 P.M.
Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Town Council of the Town of Carefree, Arizona and to the general public that the members of the Town Council will hold a meeting open to the public. For any item listed on the agenda, the Council may vote to go into Executive Session for advice of counsel and/or to discuss records and information exempt by law or rule from public inspection, pursuant to Arizona Revised Statues §38-431.03.

All items listed hereunder are considered to be routine by the Town Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a council member so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the consent agenda and will be discussed separately:
ITEM #1 Approval of the March 6, 2018 Town Council Regular Meeting Minutes.
ITEM #2 Acceptance into the public record of the March, 2018 paid bills.
ITEM #3 Acceptance of the cash receipts and disbursements report for February, 2018.
ITEM #4 Approval of a Restaurant Series 12 Liquor License Application for Brandon Gauthier for Café Binks located at 36889 N. Tom Darlington Drive, Carefree.
ITEM #5 Approval of a Special Event Liquor License Application for Our Lady of Joy – Resurrection Assembly #3280 of the Knights of Columbus to be held at the Parish Hall on April 14, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
REGULAR AGENDA:
ITEM #6 Call to the Public: Consideration of comments from the public. Pursuant to Section 2-4-7(G) of the Town Code and A.R.S. 38-431.01(H), those wishing to address the Council need not request permission in advance. The public may address the Council on matters not on the agenda. At the conclusion of an open call to the public, individual members of the public body may respond to criticism made by those who have addressed the public body, may ask staff to review a matter, direct staff to study the matter, reschedule the matter for further consideration and decision at a later date, or may ask that a matter be put on a future agenda. However, the Council may not discuss or take legal action at this time. Please limit your comments to not more than 3 minutes.
ITEM #7 Current Events.
ITEM #8 Request by the applicant, CEV Holdings, LLC to continue to the May 1st, 2018 Council meeting, General Plan Amendment Case #17-06-GPA and Rezone Case #17-01-RZ, The Enclave at Carefree, a new residential subdivision.
ITEM #9 Review, discussion and possible action to approve Resolution 2018-04 rescinding Resolution 1995-04 and reaffirming participation in the FARE program by the Carefree – Cave Creek Municipal Court.
ITEM #10 Review, discussion and possible action to approve Ordinance 2018-01, a request for a Special Use Permit, Case #17-11-SUP for an indoor self-storage facility as permitted in Commercial zoning under specified conditions.
ITEM #11 Review, discussion and possible action to authorize the use of contingency funds in the amount of $10, 970 to purchase 4 radar speed signs from ElanCity.
ITEM #12 Discussion and possible action to go into Executive Session in accordance with A.R.S. §§ 38-431.03(A)(3) and (A)(4) including discussion and consultation for legal advice with the attorney of the public body, and negotiations or discussion regarding potential contracts and negotiations.
