Carefree Highway and 56th Street.
Roadway Improvements - Expect Delays
The City of Scottsdale has begun construction work to install a right turn lane, eastbound at Carefree Highway and 60th Street.  In order to provide for the right turn lane, there will be utility work and drainage/grading improvements to this specific area.  

Please expect delays during this construction process and anticipate temporary changes to traffic patterns.  This construction, depending on favorable weather conditions, should take approximately 4 weeks to complete.

Arthur has a good point regarding the bike noise, however it would be impossible to know who in the group was exceeding the noise by using a  noise decibel reading device. Actually I believe the muffler changes some make to the Harley are actually illegal, if so they can be ticketed for  that just by looking at the vehicle.
In the last week I have seen more activity by the Sheriff's Dept, both on Cave Creek Rd and on Tom Darlington. That is the best fix for both the noise infringement and the speeding.
