NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING
OF THE CAREFREE TOWN COUNCIL

TIME: 5:00 P.M.
Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Town Council of the Town of Carefree, Arizona and to the general public that the members of the Town Council will hold a meeting open to the public. For any item listed on the agenda, the Council may vote to go into Executive Session for advice of counsel and/or to discuss records and information exempt by law or rule from public inspection, pursuant to Arizona Revised Statues §38-431.03.
The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

ITEM #2 Approval of the April 17, 2018 Town Council Special and Budget Workshop Minutes.
ITEM #3 Approval of the April 24, 2018 Town Council Budget Workshop Minutes.
ITEM #4 Acceptance into the public record of the April, 2018 paid bills.
ITEM #5 Acceptance of the cash receipts and disbursements report for March, 2018.
ITEM #6 Approval of an Application for Special Event License submitted by Dennis J. O’Rourke and St. Gabriel the Archangel Roman Catholic Parish. The event to be held on May 12, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Proceeds to benefit St. Vincent De Paul Conference of Our Lady of Joy and St. Vincent De Paul Conference of St. Gabriel Church.
REGULAR AGENDA:
ITEM #7 Call to the Public: Consideration of comments from the public. Pursuant to Section 2-4-7(G) of the Town Code and A.R.S. 38-431.01(H), those wishing to address the Council need not request permission in advance. The public may address the Council on matters not on the agenda. At the conclusion of an open call to the public, individual members of the public body may respond to criticismmade by those who have addressed the public body, may ask staff to review a matter, direct staff to study the matter, reschedule the matter for further consideration and decision at a later date, or may ask that a matter be put on a future agenda. However, the Council may not discuss or take legal action at this time. Please limit your comments to not more than 3 minutes.
ITEM #8 Current Events.
ITEM #9 Request by the applicant, CEV Holdings, LLC to continue to the June 5, 2018 Council meeting, General Plan Amendment Case #17-06-GPA and Rezone Case #17-01-RZ, The Enclave at Carefree, a new residential subdivision.
ITEM #10 Presentation, discussion and possible action to approve a new world-class event in Carefree by the Thunderbird Artists for Fiscal Year 2018 - 2019.
ITEM #11 Presentation, discussion and possible action to approve the Intergovernmental Agreement for the continued service of the Veteran’s Court by the Carefree – Cave Creek Consolidated Court.
ITEM #12 Presentation, discussion and possible action to approve Resolution 2018-07 regarding RAGHT for the coverage of employee health benefits.
ITEM #13 Review, discussion and possible action regarding tentative adoption of the Town of Carefree Budget for Fiscal Year 2018 – 2019 and calling for a special meeting and public hearing on June 5, 2018.
ITEM #14 Presentation and discussion regarding the Desert Foothills Trolley.
ITEM #15 Discussion and possible action to go into Executive Session in accordance with A.R.S. §§ 38-431.03(A)(3) and (A)(4) including discussion and consultation for legal advice with the attorney of the public body, and negotiations or discussion regarding potential contracts and negotiations.
