The Christmas season kicked off in Carefree on December 2nd at 5 PM with the Bell Ringers playing holiday tunes, followed by the lighting of the Carefree Christmas tree, with a nice little speech by Mayor John Crane. This was followed at 6 PM by a concert featuring Kevin Glenn's singing students and the Cactus Kickers dancers.
