I got a call from Alberto Liani this afternoon.  Alberto was quite upset because he has been hearing from a number of his regular customers that they heard he was closing for his summer vacation at the end of May for the entire summer.
 
While Alberto does normally close for the summer after the 4th of July for July and August, he has never closed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.  This year, he is cutting his summer vacation even shorter than usual in order to help his employees to stay working.  This summer, he is only closing for the month of August and re-opening after Labor Day, so keep going to Alberto's and getting his great Italian food in June and July!
