Hello neighbors. Now that the weather is warming up and with kids home (including my 3), there is more foot traffic in the Desert Gardens, particularly evenings. We have to be considerate to our residents who are walking through with their pets. Bicycles/scooters are strictly forbidden as per town code: Section 7-4-3 Operation of Skateboard, Motorized Goped Scooter and/or Bicycle on Public Sidewalk, Street, Public Parking Lot, or Public Area
No person shall operate a skateboard, motorized goped, scooter, skateboard, or bicycle on any public sidewalk, public parking lot, or public area within the town center Desert Gardens--and can be punishable by $750 fine.
**More importantly, please be considerate of others while we share the beautiful gardens that our town staff work hard to maintain.
