The required second reading and discussion of a proposed amendment of the Carefree Town Code to protect health, safety, and welfare by prohibiting the use, possession, sale, and smoking of marijuana on publicly owned of controlled property, and only allowing recreational marijuana sales within a medical marijuana facility holding a dual license was held during the March Council meeting.  Stacey Bridge-Denzak noted that she had given a detailed presentation of the proposed new Ordinance at the February meeting.  She presented a brief summary of that presentation.  (See the link below for her full presentation.)

Mayor Les Peterson asked Kandace Contreras if any public comments had been received since the February meeting.  Hearing that there were none, he asked for a motion.  A motion to approve the Ordinance passed unanimously.
